Crippled

I was crippled by your love
which taught me to mistrust
the pureness of my heart
I was cut off by the coldness
of your voice
which swished like sharp swords
through your eyes

then

I was caged by your loneliness
and your pain
which tainted your being
with darkened flesh and frowns

I could not leave ...

    neutral

I don't see this as sad. Contemplative yes, contemplative of sadness too indeed. But the 'I could not leave', speaks not of sadness but of hope compassion and love ...
Edited by BitGit on right now because 'not neutral, but excellent'.
