Hey little girl, what are you playing?
Why aren't you in the sandbox, too?
Who cares if you're afraid of them
They just might like you, too
Don't worry about the laughter
The harder you try, sure you fall
But at least when you're older
There's nothing to regret at all
And someday there'll be that boy
That makes you smile, makes you laugh
But don't fall for his charm
For he'll never love you back
And to that girl that laughs at you
Her eyes lined with black
Tell her that you never cared
About anything she said
Because if you don't stand up tall
The world will look down
And laugh at you
When your friends aren't around
So stand a little taller
I swear it'll be okay
My five minutes are over
But you still have today
So go to that sandbox
Say hi and give a smile
You never know what could happen
But I've known for a while

Sticks and stones pale in comparrison to the scared feelings of harsh mean and cruel words. It's how we react to them that build character in us all. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck LOL Bill
