Powerful write. Trust is very important in life. When people violate it, it can be hard to try to regain people's trust. The last line seemed metaphorical to me. Not so much literally collapsing, but kind of like a collapsing of life around a person and maybe altering the way they see and live life forever. Good luck in the contest.
