Beyond this road
There's nothing there
A life in a life
That never was here
But the more we look
The more we see
That life is just an unwritten book
For as I walk
Down this road
I see nothing beyond
Yet I see everything behind
Looking ahead
Into the unknown
Fathers
Mothers
Daughters
Sons
No ones eyes are the same
Yet No one knows
What lies beyond this road.

Just running through once more before the final decision. Thanks again for entering.

I actually like this kind of free verse rhyming. I think this is a meaningful poem... it gives a mellow feeling as a walk down this road might.

Interesting. Slightly awkward rhythm and rhyme was. It was rough in that, where you would expect a rhyme there wasn't one and then one would suddenly pop up. I like the concept, but think you could tweak it. Thanks for entering.
