Out beyond the highway's bustle,
beyond the people and the crime
lies a place of few distractions;
a place out of this space and time.
A wee road through the heather winds,
where the bracken and roses grow.
When my heart is hurting like now,
oh, how I long to simply go.
Here perhaps my cold heart would heal.
Here perhaps the teardrops would dry.
Here I could bury rejection,
try the world again with a sigh.

Yes a Good Take!
You picture the road beyond, a [place of retreat, a pause a get-away, to make some emotional adjustments before returning to the hoohaa of life again. A nice take on the prompt!
