You planted seeds
and from those thoughts
a flower grew
there is
no sunshine
for my garden bloom
and though
she wilts
Still-
she is the prettiest
blossom,
to bud from me.
and from those thoughts
a flower grew
there is
no sunshine
for my garden bloom
and though
she wilts
Still-
she is the prettiest
blossom,
to bud from me.
Author notes
I don't care about cups or points...I write for the love of it...and strive to be the best I can be...and yes some people are not fair...this poem reflects my thoughts of it...

Very short and very sweet, to the point. This write does show that you do your best.

You are an excellent poet. Sometimes these contests are just ridiculous cliche oriented pools lacking any value. Don't let these contests affect you.

Each poem is a diary, a flower...we can only write from the pulse. Everything else that takes us away from that pulse, is false.. I can see the pulse here in this poem, my friend. Bravo to you - just keep on writing!
