When he moved away
It killed my heart
I was only five
He missed me growing up
I never really had a dad
He can never get those years back
All he did would call
And most of the time
He would fall asleep while talking to me
The one thing
I want is a father
One who would be there
When I needed him
All of my anger
Is towards him
How he made us
Live in Maine for 9 years
He never tried
I would cry every night
Because my dad wasn't there
What does he think
By moving us here
We would be closer
He only made it worse
My dad does not like me
He say's he does
But really doesn't

What a sad poem... It must be horrible to grow up without a dad, knowing he is not interested in you...
Thank you for entering my contest and keep on writing!
All the best,
Annie
