one soul at a time

i have this peace that i cannot explain
though my days are numbered i do not worry
once i thought i could never change
now i have a life altering story
i was lost in my own hate and pain
everyday i was screaming inside
from all the demons i have sustaind
now im found and let go of my pride
the drugs i used were my only release
one day i decided to escape this hell
with a broken heart and tears in my eyes
i heard a voice and to my knees i fell
i pleaded i just want to die!
but GOD had a differant plan
all i could do was cry
finally somebody understands!
