Daily medical progression cinches my radioactive body.
“Genius” doctors fumble around sophisticatedly during
dissection, severing skin-to-skin connections
using surgical tools coated in
hopeful cyanotic diatribe.
Literate in Braille teratoma, I amply touch
my crusty pie-like skin and decipher
evidence of failure
with disappointed pruny fingers
instead.
>>It’s alive. I’m dying.<<
The doctors’ ebullient apathy,
attributed to belief in predestined cosmos,
creates ambivalence against my inherited
[universally inherent]
cancer massacre aspirations.
So, the timeless fantasy retreats back into the
masochistic imagination, where it lays to waste.
