It was a party trick
And the young lawyer
Had been performing it for months,
At every office get together,
High in the swanky law office
In the downtown tower.
He ran across the broadloom
And flung himself at the big window
As the office girls and paralegals
Held their breath, then clapped.
That day was different
He flung himself against the window
And it gave.
And I thought lawyers were intelligent.
Better he should have majored in architecture
Or taken a job as a builder.

I don't think I've been able to make this very funny. Sorry.

I was intrigued by these lines as I have no idea what you are talking about:-
"He ran across the boadloom
And flung himself at the big window
As the office girls and paralegals"
What is a boadloom? What is a paralegal?
Hilarious.
