Words for Walt

I am written by your poems ...
see me: i am the gnome
of your thoughts ...
slipping away
with your earthy words
becoming water
and wind
and pliable clay
becoming memory
moon
everlasting day

I am the tree
with your evergreen eyes
hearing and smelling
and touching blue skies
I breathe through your leaves
this longing for rest
so carry on
writing
in quest of the sun

this is a good one! I really like the subtle style of ryming you had going on--it's not too forced. Great job. -zuzu
