Green Rose

I smelt the rose
The rose objected
Cut me with her thorn
Never smell the rose
When the rose is dressed
In all her greenery

    Another wonderful poem.

The author of this work, Allan James Saywell, truly deserves to be given credit for his talent and skill.

    He wrote an excellent poem.

Haha, I almost see some innuendos here. I like the part about the rose objecting, makees me think of the roses and flowers singing in Alice in Wonderland. Good stuff.

Short, sweet and simple. Makes sense too...get too close to beauty, and you get hurt. Nicely done Julia.
