Hues of blood red
streak through the skies
morning moisture thinning the colors
to rose magentas, daisy pinks;
shot throughout with flames
of brilliant oranges and golds
with a dusky hint of lavenders
making for another
heavenly sunrise
that bleeds into our hearts.
