I know the world is dead
So why must I get up and roam?
Am I so simply led?

Alone in my old shuttered home
I hear the door bell ring
Who is it? Only a bone man comes
What is it that he brings?

I know the world is dead
Why did I open the door?
"It's you who died" he said
"Who died and are no more"

So why must I get up and roam
Into a world of shadows?
Must I join that dark kingdom
That none living can know?

Am I so simply led
To think that I must live?
Do I not know I'm dead
And can no longer live?
