If I can buy more minutes to talk
Can I buy more minutes to live?
Because I've wasted too many of mine
And I'm running out of more to give.
I've already lived so many minutes
But how many do I have remaining?
I need to start using them better
Because I can feel the minutes draining.
I haven't been using my nights
And weekends minutes very well,
Spending them at home in bed
Instead of out raising hell.
So help me to better spend my minutes
While I still have some to spend.
I'm already 9 million minutes old
And hopefully nowhere near the end.

This was great. I loved the flow and the rhyme. The subject is something I can relate to all too well. Everything was just magnificent. I loved every line, I can't even pick a favorite. Great job Sonya!!!

This is a very mature point of view. Not only that, but this poem is worth every second reading. Though this was a trip to read, this is very different. And different is what people aim for in poetry. Job well done, and please, for the sake of your fond readers, keep it up.
