Pack away your favorites
your genre is
indescribable
but your sense of style
is fit snug into category
name and label
myspace junkie
'got any?'
top eight, honey!
Build build
your walls off of
me, me
text message buzz
keep, keep me buzzing
i love the feeling alongside
my thighs
communication age
but not a soul is communicating
keep on packing
keep on buying
just keep my buzzing.

i can read the writing on the wall.

Interesting piece, but I'm not sure how it relates to the prompt. A great statement on the plugged-in generation. CyberSpace IS the new reality. I'll remember this eery time I'm in a meeting and somebody's "Crackberry" goes off.
Thanks for entering.

At first when I thought I was going to read a poem about myspace I was a bit hesitant but when I read the poem I changed my mind completely. The diction is very powerful and intelligent, it shows it was well thought out.Though I have to say im 19, also stuck in the me generation and I dont believe we will save the world, in fact I think we're turning it into a place thats as mindless as us.Great work and thank you for the entry.
