I watch as you walk away,
Hoping and praying,
For you to stay.
I know I hope for too much.
I watch carefully at how you walk,
Leaving behind all your “friends”,
They try in vain to talk.
Maybe their words can save you.
You left, hidden by the dark of night
Knowing that this darkness,
Would let you leave with out a fight.
Even with your sharp eyes, your blind.
Your friends all plead and cry,
As you turn your back,
You don’t even try.
Revenge is the reason.
Your past was one long fight,
A long sad battle, that you lost,
Yet that does not make it right.
Because now your ruining ours.
You lack what you need,
Yet you think it’s power,
Do I need to plead?
What you lack is love.
Emotion. A warm heart. Feeling.
A friend to lead you down the right path.
I’d tell you this kneeling!
If only you’d stay.
Tears like bullets form at my eyes,
I watch you walk away
And my heart cries.
It cries out to you, screaming,
“Please Sasuke, stay.”
Author notes
Okay for anyone who has never seen this show, it has to do with a boy (Sasuke) who is leaving all of his friends behind (he doesn't have any family left) in order to get more power. His friends try to get him to stay, but he's even willing to kill them if they get in his way, and he almost does. All and all it's a real good show and if you haven't seen it, this sums up the few episodes this is about.
Sorry I really like this show and this is my first time writing a poem about it,

i really love naruto, and this poem captured exactly what i believed naruto was thinking when sasuke left. you're right, sasuke lacks love, not power.
