I wake up to a noise
That ALARMS my soul
It's 'Radio' singin' songs, again!
What an asshole
It's 7:30 in the morning!
But I still gotta love you
Because when I'm working out, man you help me through the struggle
Then I go to the 'Shower'
Water spurts out the faucet head
I try to say hi
But she replies
"Shhhhhh" from her rusted lead
She warms me up
Releives my stress
And even makes me clean
A cool old babe to have around
If you know what i mean
Then I go to 'TV', he's always got the scoop
He tells me what I need to know and keeps me in the loop
This guy's the best, I'm tellin' you
He breathes his stories air...
And with him I-just-don't stare!
I laugh with him, I change the topics,
Even say my share
Then I go off with my other friends
They're not quite so loyal
They aren't there day in-day out
They don't treat me royal
They don't do whatever i want
And I know it's wrong to expect it
But at days end
My friends at home are those who I've selected
...It's getting kind of late now
You know i'm feeling kinky
My woman's going to get...
The clanky-clinky with the pinky!
Ooo, when I touch 'Computer' just right
We go 'round the world in one night
...We can chase the sunlight
...Find out what the sun's like.
We can do anything when my hands make love to her keys
But I got to Boot her at the end of the night

Now it's back to my favorite, 'Bed', who takes me every night
No matter what i've done that day, she hugs me down real tight
She listens to my deepest thoughts, and finally lets me free

You're clever, Lith. I'm glad you're back. Either you've kept rhyming since you've been gone, or you're just a natural (both, I think)...because this flows just like everything you write.
Made me kind of sad, though...just made me think about materialism and how some of us go through life without really maintaining true bonds (with humans). And shit like that. haha.

I have the same friends! They are the best! They allow me to be me, no questions asked.
I also have friends with flesh and bones. I certainly hope you do too my son! Good to see you here and writing again. I have so missed your cleverness and wit. This is one that kept me smiling from beginning to end.
