Smile (unfinished)

A smile on my face
A grin I cannot erase
I don't mean to come on strong
But nothing here feels wrong
So for you, I'll write a rhyme
And with you, I'd waste all my time
Carrying around so many thoughts
I never say
You make it all just go away
Tickling me like a child
making my thoughts run wild
and lighting up my world for once
Next to you, I feel so safe
Something I'd forgotten how to feel
The comfort of your hand
I can sleep knowing you wouldn't raise it to my skin
A new feeling
and a new way of breathing
you show me things I never thought I'd feel
My head on your chest, you put the light back in my eyes
and let me run around like a child now
I am myself again
when you look at me, I know every thing's going to be alright
So here it is, I hope you take this in kind
And don't think I've lost my mind
But I'm falling fast and feel like I'm going up
