Nightshift
I shape myself like the night
curling about your sillohuette
I am shadow on skin
I breathe you in
the tender nape of your neck
a refuge for my nose, to rest
your lingering scent
my dreams are spent
buried within the crumpled up sheets
are the stirring embers of the night's desires
passionate fires, now subdued
til your gentle caress starts them anew
I shape myself like moonbeams-
like stars that shimmer in the southern sky
and keep a watchful, sleepy eye
on you...my heart's true lullaby

Still a bit sick, but I do like this one. It rattled around in my head for a while. Just about watching the one you love sleep.
