I don't know much about football
Which League has the big teams
I glance at the screen to see a play
Or whatever when I hear the screams
I like to hear the band music
Also like to watch the drill
I really get into the mood
For it all gives me a thrill
It's wonderful to watch the games
And see all the fantastic plays
Some of them are so good
They get talked about for days
Here's a great big hand to all
The players and their teams
And for the special awards given
Makes my smile turn into a beam

When I said I don't know much about Football that is true. When I was a cheerleader in Junior High School our cheerleaders and I did a super cheer but it was for the other team and we didn't realize it. It was for some play made on the field.

I like this poem because I'm in the Marching Band, Drumline, and have 2 bands of my own! So total connection there. Well, I'd love to read more of your poems, but I've got Mid Terms to take care of mam. -

Thanks for your kind comment. I used to play French Horn and Trumpet. I was in the Marching Band in Senior High. Education is important, so study hard and get a degree.
