What if in the future, people just united?
Crushing all the hateful and bitter of kind.
Breaking the distorted and twisted of mind.
What if all the wizened, once could be herd?
Leading us to freedom, teaching us to cope,
Driving us to living, loving and to hope.
What if all the people learn to be as one?
Learn to love each other, all and in whole,
Giving what we cherish, hold, and control.
What if for the children, pain could be no more?
Suffering just a fiction, oppression a myth,
Truth the destination and laughter our gift.

VERY well done, So far Ive read three of your poems and loved every one. I have to say that dream isnt to far off. It could happen, Jesus came to get us to that point ;-). But very well written, I give you props.
