I sit here on the point of the rock watching as the sun breaks the crest of the mountain across the lake.
I hear the simple song of the swan as she dances in the spotlight at her center stage.
I see the reflection of a weather beaten giant as he awakes from his evenings slumber.
I see the colors of the cool morning on the round clouds that blanket the sky.
I feel her presence in my arms and her breath upon my cheek as we gaze at the morning’s beauty.
I mark this moment with a prayer for every person who may never witness the true presence of nature.
I hear rustling in the bushes as a tiny creature stretches and comes to life to start the day’s activity.
I observe the changes in everything around me and wish that I could be a part of this environment.
I think if people were to witness this feeling of true beauty it would change their minds and attitudes towards life.
I sit here on the edge of the lake with the beauty of nature and the beauty of my girl what more can I want.
