Not Death, But Life

As I see my tears soak these pages

I think not of  your fatal end,

But of  your laughs and smiles.

Loved by all who saw them...

As I see my tears soak these pages,

I hate not the loneliness I feel,

But the silence filled with missing voices,

Voices missed by all who heard them.

As I see my tears soak these pages,

I remember not a loved one's death,

But a loved one's  life lived to the full,

And cherished by all who were part of it.

As you see my  tears soak these pages,

Remember, please,

That in my heart,

You'll always be...
