My fingers are skaking,
as these words flow
trailing from my mind through pen,
my hidden fears have since been realized.
Now, I know what you're thinking,
"here she goes again!"
another verse composed by the eternal
anger, pain, emotional torment
But these are words of love, you see
though from you cleverly disguised.
The shaking of limbs is from pure bliss
the fears realized, but soon overcome
There's a boy, you see
who's stolen me, heart, body and soul.
As I, in turn, gain so very much more:
a love I pray may last!
My fears, by him
were vanquished as smoke
Torments of a lonliness
a fate neglected by my hero.
Don't you roll your eyes at me,
I can see you do so now.
"Just another love poem
pouring from the poor romantic's heart"
Dear reader, you may be right
though how, I ask
can just two months
be far greater than just two years
Jibberish, these words seem to you
as they leak through this ink.
and the shaking has, for now, subsided.
For now, at least, I am happy.
