The Story Of Tinkerbell

One winters day my mom had the day off from work and I was out of school.

We were really bored an had nothing to do.

My mom decided to call one of her buddies from high school to see if she wanted to hang out for the day. We pulled into the drive way and got out of the car, we stood outside for a few minutes talking about what are dog Radar done earlier that was just to funny. An her friend told us there has been a gray cat hanging out her home for a good few months. She told us she would like to keep her but she couldn't because her two girls couldn't be around cats, and no one could hardly get near her with out her running away. Then all of a sudden we look down, and there she is sitting there on the ground.

She was so pretty, even for being thin and dirty, their was something about her that I wanted her for my own. I looked up at my mom and right away she knew what I was thinking. I turned to her and said, "I know when I was younger I didn't take care of cats very well. An you and Tom don't like cats". But If I promise you I'll take care of her and feed her everyday can I keep her? An better yet I'll make a deal, if I'm able to walk up to her and pet her and at least hold her for more then a minute I get to take her home. I walked up to her, and she hid under the house I sat down and called for her and told her it was okay. She poked her little head out and looked at me with her golden eyes. I held out my hand and with a suprise she walked over to me and laid in my lap.

An hour later went by and mom was ready to go home, she walked outside and what you know I was still sitting in the same spot petting the cat. There for sure I knew she was mine and so happy I was. Mom told me before we took her home we had to go and get some things for her, at first I was scared to let her go I thought for sure when I did came back later that night she'd be gone. A few hours later after buying new this for her, the weather was getting really bad it was cold and windy and snowing very hard. Mom said we should just go home and we can come back for her tomorrow. I begged mom to go back there because of the weather I didn't want her to be left in it any longer so we did, we went back to look for her.

We pulled in the driveway it was dark and cold, and nobody was home. I got out of the car and looked around and called out as loud as I could hopping she was still around and could hear me. Behind me I hear my mom whisper "Hey Amber! She's right behind you." I turned around and there she was rolled in a little ball trying to keep warm from the cold. I piked her up and put her in my jaket to keep her warm and safe and got into the car. At first she was a little scared but then soon realized she was safe and warm and food and water and TOYS! was waiting for her at home. We got home and and took her to my room and put her down, she looked up at me and meowed wondering if it okay to take a look around. She nibbled on some food and took a drink of water, played with her new toy mouse and then laid back in my lap.

We decided it was time to meet the "rest of the family" our four dogs. Daisey our miniature American Eskimo, Danny Boy our Miniature Sheltie, Dolly our min pin, and Radar our German short Hair. First we brought down Daisey she's old and use to "new members of the family" She was excited to see what we brought home and she licked the cats face and then sat down to let us know her greeting was done. Then we brought in Danny he's shy but playful and well kind of stupid he thought he was a cat and was very happy to see that was what we brought home. He barked and sneezed and licked her face right away he wanted to play. Then the toughest of them all Dolly who thinks she's a Rottie and thinks she's the queen and is the boss of everybody no matter what size you are. We had to hold Dolly she was crabby and growled and nipped she didn't like the idea of a cat one bit. but then came down Radar she calm and relaxed and kind of scared what to think. But all in the end every buddy became good friends.

Later that night my mom asked, "what are you going to name that cat?" I said Tinkerbell, when she walks her little bell on her collar goes "tink tink" and you can here it when she follows me all over the house. She was a very smart loving cat, she was like my shadow my little angle she went every where I went even to the bathroom and waited for me by the shower. She wakes me up in the morning when my alarm clock didn't go off for me to go to school. she loved to play hide and seek and she loved to play tag. She was a silly ol girl and I do miss her soo. My little Tinkerbell may she rest in peace.

Sadly no I don't I had her for a bout 2-3 years and I had to put her down. She got attacted by something out side and she was in so much pain I didn't want her to hurt any more. I got a New cat now and her name is Daja-Vu because she looks and acts just like Tinkerbell.
