Chorus:
Bit by bit,
This world tears apart
We need someone back
Who had the biggest heart
He gave his life
So we could live today
But now
What will he have to say?
Verse 1:
Can we please stop the wars?
They are tearing us apart
We should open different doors
And make a stronger heart
Too many people get hurt
And too many people die
Back to old times, we need to revert
So we can satisfy
It's unnecessary to fight
And it won't make us strong
This doesn't seem quite right
Will this be lifelong?
I hope it isn't
Because the next people won't like it
It will be like a prison
And this world will be split
The good and the bad
The rich and the poor
The mad and the sad
And there will be no cure
The only cure is to start now
By making it a better place
We'll make it through somehow
This isn't a race
Lets first stop the wars
So there are no more fights
Both indoors and outdoors
Should we start tonight?
It may take more than that
But at least we can start
We shouldn't have combat
So we don't tear apart
When we send soldiers away
Sometimes they don't come back
When they were supposed to be home yesterday
Because there was an attack
Whatever happened to peace on earth?
And now what is it worth?
There is so much war that it makes us sore
Why don't we ever rest
I think that would be best
Can't we have a good life
That is what I always strife
That is what I need
So I can succeed
Chorus:
Bit by bit, this world tears apart
We need someone back, who had the biggest heart
He gave his life, so we could live today
But now what will he have to say
Verse 2:
What is happening to all of us
And why couldn't blacks take the bus
That was a very cruel state
Because there was so much hate
But think back way before that
When a wagon was where you sat
Everybody was nice back then
Even all the big huge men
Wouldn't it be nice to get back
What now days we lack
The worry less sleep
Without a peep
Going outside
Without having to hide
Going place without the worry
And the need to hurry
Just being free
Without paying a fee
Why does it have to be this way,
With so much annoyance everyday
There is so much violence around
That is what I have found
Why can't we stop?
Should we call a cop?
But that won't help
'Cause we'll still yelp
There is always violence somewhere out there
Having peace is very rare
Sometimes I hate living here
Because there is so much fear
I wish there was somewhere else I could go
Where people there aren't so low
Why can't we just take a day
To put all the bad guys away
Chorus:
Bit by bit, this world tears apart
We need someone back, who had the biggest heart
He gave his life, so we could live today
But now what will he have to say

Very strong and well written.
-
phrasing in places seems a bit fuddled to me:
"We need someone back
Who had the biggest heart"
I am not certain how to rephrase it as I am not certain what it is, precisely, that the author is trying to convey... I feel I miss out on a large portion of songs when people submit lyrics, as I am not hearing the music... -
The Biggest Heart
I liked this one. Lots of reasons composed into a song.

Great write.. and thanks so much for entering!
