I'm quite simply no one
Filling your spaces in between
Here to listen, go-to girl
Not to be heard nor seen

I'm quite simply a saddened one
Through facades of smiles, no tears
And though you'll never notice mine
I'll be beside you through your fears

I'm quite simply an empathetic one
Aiming to please and understand
Giving of heart and all that I have
Always holding out my hand

Don't tell, I'm quite simply a secretive one
Never let another see
I am, I feel, I dream, I love
But simply nothing would believe in me

What becomes of a desperate one
So quiet, so timid and shy
Don't worry, she lay in the bed she made
Where eventually her spirit will die

I'm quite simply no one

    Michele, you have done a find job weaving yourself within these words..truly came from the heart. That is why the words flowed with great ease. I would not change a single word of it...you tied the beginning to the end therefore taking the piece full circle.Your heart is one of the most beautiful things about you and who you are...dont worry that you arent seen or felt for trust me my dear friend...you are both. Those you have touched will not allow your soul to die...be strong my friend and never let your ink silence upon the page...for the world would be a much more dismal place if your words failed to thrive.

    Yay! Finally!

    What I like about this is that you finished it the same way you started it. And thus giving it a small sense of completion. And I LOVE the line that it was. Simply no one...It's an interesting concept. My favorite part was the last verse. That I admit..was a bit unhappy, but well written. FINNNNNNNNNNNALLLLLLLY lol took you long enough to shoot one out. Poem I mean. Lol. You're such a nice person, I don't think your spirit will die You write so pretty, and you'll get through whatever it is, I know it.
