ears and in your heart now.
The music is techno
playing in the back
round of the club that
you are in right now.

Listen to the beat as you
start to wave you hands.
So take this and join
the party tonight.
The raves just keep on
flowing with this fun.

I will join you soon
enough to really party.
So you just sit tight and
enjoy the roller-coaster.
Have you ever noticed my
eyes at night with music.
So come and join me
and dance to THE BEAT!

Author notes

I was listening to some techno when i wrote and it came to me to write about the beat of the song and how it made me feel like it was going to be alright to have some fun again in my life. So I hope you all enjoy it. And if you want to find out what song inspired this poem it was ATB's-Ecstasy.

    I can understand what your thinkin on this one ~ i've written a similar write ~ I was doing the samething ~ listening to music ~ and my body reacted ~ I like the rhyming you've posed in this write ~ the write has a few small breaks in the meter ~ but overall it is barely noticeable ~ it's a fun read ~ almost as you share the music ~ you share the dance ~ I did enjoy the read ~

    The poem itself has a great beat to it all. I can see this being a fun song to listen to. Great use of rhyming.

    I really love this poem. as I was reading this, it was like I could feel the beat of the music in my head. the words flow very nicely. excellent job on this.
