Unlocked by Intoxication

Experience is the tie that binds
Confusion to the meaning
Of the whitest snow
Falling green from the sky
Coating the blue candy beans
Analyzing Everything
Graphs and charts
Lists and run boards
It all made sense to me
Only I understand
The sensible nonsense
Losing everything
While gaining knowledge
Unconscience mind
Swirling to the surface

I have a new understanding
Of what and who I am
I found the map
To the secrets
Of my flaws
Open doors
Unlocked by intoxication

Finally realizing why.
When the leaks are fixed
I'll be a success.

Author notes

This poem was inspired by the thought of Pink Floyd on happy pills.

  • Lol i like your authors notes. anyways, i raelly like htis, and i htink that you have a fair shot in this contest. good luck!

  • This poem was written while on a combination of intoxicants. It should be obvious in the poem but those happy things were powder, beans, and the Ganja. I was going through an interesting transition in my life at the time.

I really like this. I like how it's trippy and abstract. I love your inspiration for this too. Pink Floyd and happy pills, what else do you need.
