rage, anger, hurt and sorrow

why have you taken her?
it all seems like a dream
when will I wake up?
from this horror that has become not a dream but a nightmare
i am forever running
hoping I wont be next
she was stolen by that disease
and you sat back and let it happen
they say you are almighty
but why, would you let her suffer?
people tell me not to rage or be angry at you
but why should i just be calm?
you have taken her from my life
made her suffer till the end
now i suffer with a broken heart that will never mend
she was the world
my rock, my hero
yet you made her suffer
for what? to get your jollies?
why have you taken her?

    Hi

Thanks for commenting on my poem "This One" - it is about the realization of my love for my mother and about her endless contribution to the my psychological welfare during the various phases of my life and about the helplessness I felt when I finally recognized all that her love for me did for me and meant to me. You hopefully have a grandmother who feels the same way about you (all my grandparents died before I was four) and seemingly already acknowledge her importance to your life and well being. - Billpoet
