Could it be any harder to be at your side
Without kissing your lips nor holding you tight
To see that smile in your beautiful face
And not being the one you embrace
Could it be any harder to look at you in the eye
Knowing that I want you but that you aren’t mine
It is a curse that has been put on me
And I want to break it and be free from it.
Could it be any harder to say hi and goodbye
Wanting to last forever with you in my arms tight
Wanting to freeze each moment I'm with you
And give you the kiss that is long overdue
Could it be any harder to be your friend
To watch you walk away with some other man
To dream of you yet you being so close
To talk to you yet not tell you all

This is good, very simple in it's words but so smooth as you read, the emotions of it just kind of wash over you. To see, talk, and spend time with the one you love and know there with another. Well done.

A poem that will definately speak to a lot of readers, since I'm pretty sure almost everyone will be able to relate to the feelings you've captured here.
The rhymescheme isn't steady in this one, but you did a masterful job with the flow of it
Thank you for entering the contest, I wish you the best of luck!
