Crook To Rest - silver

Missing image

These white wings doubled over
in wretch to reach particular sea of trees
pinned like log to blueprint’s plan
amidst a forest where bird songs
are in many languages about the One
who left a simple path as a gift
for those who labor hard
amidst wide blue skies and alternate forests
to find that exact crook to rest
before our wings break off.

This was am excellent take on the prompt! Kindness is such a simple act and it doesn't cost a thing! (in the dollar sense) Some good stuff to think about here! Sorry to hear of your aches and pains. Perfect opportunity for some more recording? You have such a melodic voice. I really enjoy "hearing" you!!!

This is amazing! So profound and philosophical. This really struck me as a pure universal truth, "amidst a forest where bird songs
are in many languages about the One
who left a simple path as a gift".

ty Mallig. I have nto written much for a while. I am struggling with nerve pain on the right side of my neck, cheek and forehead. It started with cold-like symptoms and really is miserable. I have few creative thoughts while laying head on heating pad.

"who left a simple path as a gift"...
sorrow becomes as too many seem never to
see these true gifts of life. We can be
kind in so many ways each day, but so many
choose not too and most times, it is due to fear.
This relates so well to theme and image.
The harshness in the closing line threw me upon first
read; but as I read it again and again-I see that you
only reveal the true harshness that becomes our souls
when we continually refuse the simpler & kinder path. Blessings, Blue

I always come from the palce of "I am not worthy"...for the gracious and good gifts I have received. I do not psoture humbleness, I am forced to humbleness the closer I get to the leaves and sky....

This is what the depth of the concept is and where one can define the truth in the manner of its universality ..as you defined in this great immaginative poetry...
