My eyes linger on a single image, unforgettable
I see us together. We're now apart, it's quite regrettable
The tall building surround as we dance and we sway
All in darkness by the light of the moon's day
It's not something easily condoned
If I could, in a heart-beat the thought would be disowned
But sadly, it's mine forever. There is no escape
I needs to be stopped before it can take shape
At last my mind this thought attains
And I've now realized, the past remains
