The Picture of Perfection

Had his tounge hanging out,
and a goofy,
smile on his face
Bunny ears above each head
not knowing
they were the same.
She wore a smile,
that she could keep up for hours.
They didnt know this would be their last

They didnt know the world
could fall apart so fast
they didnt know the world
was bout to, tear them apart
maybe if they had realized
that their fate was as such
well maybe the picture
wouldnt be perfect now.

There was no secret stories
behind their eyes.
Just laughter, and smiles,
Innocence only they could know
and she didnt know that this would be their last
or maybe she would've
tried a little harder
