I had wanted to build the very same thing when we had neighbors living in the house with us! Instead, I had to settle for a box fan serenading through the night hours. lol. Nice writing here, and the thoughts behind this made me smile. A very familiar feeling!

I have never experienced noisy neighbors. Nosy...yes but not noisy. I think, honestly, we were probably the nosiest!
