I started writing on, July 4th 2007,
on a network, I had stumbled upon.
One of my friends, kept telling me about AP,
but due to my being, technically challenged.
I pondered, I didn't want to leave the people,
that had became a part, of my life there.
Finally, on Oct. 13th, I decided,
to meet the ultimate challenge and venture out.
I must sheepishly admit, it was overwhelming at first,
but she helped me out, in so many different ways.
At first I really, thought, something was wrong with me,
for only a mere few, were reading my poems.
After being told, the secret here, was commenting,
it was no time, before I had trouble, keeping up with the waves.
This community is so friendly, wonderful and helpful,
in fact so much, that I brought my friends over, from the other site.
The family feeling here is astounding, for I have always been a loner,
but not any longer, for I am blessed. with so many friends and family
To be given the opportunity to write, with such skilled poets, humbles me,
and the only thing I don't like about it, is when I can't get on it.

I joined because I was told of this site by Mark
I to was nervous, but soon I felt a lot more confident and now here I am 7 months on.
What I feel I write about with no regret and in return I have met some of the most wonderful people, who I love with all my heart.
