Brisk Cold Nights

Darkness
And out of gas
I step out on to the way
A peak, snow covered and desolate
On my way, up, up
To reach my destination,
traveling alone and thinking
It is a gift
for I love brisk cold nights

Daybreak
And with the sun rises my spirits
I feel the freshness the cold air brings,
the relief of the sun on my back
And it fills my soul with the hope
of reaching that final destination,
amidst the peaks I wander
Away from what I know
Away from what got me there

Midday
And my body rejoices in the exercise
I increase my pace,
the sweat on my brow glistens gloriously,
despite the cold of the air.
I can see my breath,
my spirit before me.
My way is clear,
and my path is clean

Twilight
And I begin to worry.
The night grows colder
the sky blacker. I lose sight of my breathe,
though it still comes out before my eyes
My road begins to grow
treacherous as the night goes on.
My paths wanders off
without me on it, nowhere to be seen.

Darkness
And I sit alone
more than alone, I curse
the sweat that now freezes to my bones
I sigh uneasily. The solitude
I loved will be the death of me
and I think to myself, my fate is just
it is a gift
for I love brisk cold nights

Please tell me what you think

This is good... different readers will each find something in this I think. I like the flow and it reads easy... Well done!
