I am so jealous of those girls,
both of them very much the same.
Those girls that aren't even yours,
but they had everything I ever dreamed of.
I am envious of those girls,
one just as much as the other.
For they had everything I dreamed of,
yet they won't even call you dad.
When I as just a little girl,
I'd cry alone in my room.
The feelings of inadaquecy sweeping in,
'cause mommy said you didn't want me.
Every night I'd dream of you,
holding me in your arms.
Some nights you'd walk me down the asile,
others you'd just hold me while I cried.
Those girls have all of this,
plus the memories to go with it.
I am so jealous of those girls.

i wont lie at the start i thought it was a guy till boom it said dad! nice twist there doll i like that a lot. i hope you know you shoul not Jealous of any one! i mean hey i just read a few poems and thats pretty much it and i already think your a pretty Awesome girl! -

Awww I felt so sad whilst reading this. I'm so sorry you are left feeling this way. It's not nice for your Mum to tell you that, even if it was true, it's not very friendly or kind really and it's a little blunt. I wish you could have a relationship with your Dad I don't blame you for wanting to, because the protection and love from a father is special. If you ever need to talk I'm here. I can't pretend I know how you feel because I don't, but I feel your pain.
