We cannot heal the scars of the world
But we can try if we wish
If one person helps another
That’s one less person
That’s suffering from things
That is able to be stopped
But still aren’t
We cannot change the world all at once
But at least if people try
We may have a chance
Of making it better for the future
Our children
One ones who shouldn’t have to live
In war, in poverty, suffering
We have what we need to change the world
Everyone owns it
It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor
Every one has love to
To share

This reminds me of a story I once heard and I shall tell it here.
A little girl used to walk all the time with her grandfather on the beach. She especially liked to go after a storm as there were always interesting things on the beach then.
One time after a really powerful storm they were walking along the beach and she ask grandpa what these things are laying on the beach....
He told her that it was a starfish. She asked hiim was it alive and he replied yes. Grandpa, what will happen if it stays out of the water?
He told her it would die. She looked at it and tossed it in the water. Then another and another...... she was running down the beach tossing starfish back in the water.
After a while he asked her why she was doing that. Look at the beach........ as far as the eye can see there are starfish. There must be millions of them. He said you cant save them all........ what difference can you make among so many?
She picked up one more and looked at it and told him. I can make a difference to this starfish!
We can't do it all or save them all but we must do what we can. I love you princess!!!!!!!
