To hold my hand and smile that day
We held each others dreams so high
And sang a secret lullaby
I remember well that rainy day
When all our worries washed away
A feeling and a memory
Was all that I could barely see
I wish that I could (be) again
I wish that we were more than friends
A certain time
A special place
In between
This melody
I remember well that rainy day
When all our worries washed away
A feeling and a memory
Was all that I could barely see
Hmm
Hm
Author notes
I wrote this as a poem awhile back and forgot about these few words on paper a very long yellow dog eared page time ago. It was an inspiration of my first crush on a girl way out of my league. The world seemed a magical place back then -to me- but then I was only in 4th grade. I later converted the words to some music I had written somewhere around my Practice room.
I added some stuff here...remembered a few things and added some stuff there...and touche' a song played in the 3rd kapo position in remembrance to my 4Th grade world and favorite book in that time...Watership Down.

It's a great poem unfortunately I can't play the video...something must be wrong with my computer. Either way great write, and thanks for entering.

This is the first video poem that I've watched and I'm very, very impressed. I wish I could write and play the guitar like that (or at all, heh). This is a job well done and I'm glad that I stopped to check it out. Thanks for sharing this!

awesome
That was really really good, lyrics, music, everything! Well done. -
I'm usually not a fan of listening to guys and their guitars online, but I liked this one ^^ I like Spanish guitars and broken chords like what you played when you weren't singing and 'twas lovely.
