Frozen

How can I see so clearly,
Yet feel all fogged up inside?
How can I love so fiercely,
Just to have all I give be denied?
How can I change when I'm frozen,
Caught in this lonely rip tide?

Searching for answers to questions,
My heart somehow knows but not me.
Trying to fly without fear now,
As if leaving will set my soul free.

How do I face some new future,
When the past still makes no sense at all?
How do I step into tomorrow,
Whilst waiting to break this last fall?
How do you breathe between moments,
When time slowly twists to a crawl?

tomorrow begins with one step forward with yesterday a reminder of how fragile is the heart shattered by illusion

Daisy. This made me cry. No joke. And, that doesn't include the ending...just twists your heart right outta your chest! UGH. That hurt!

Love to Buzbee...how is he doing these days?
    Take care, my friend,
