My eyes burn, my body quits.
My mind turns, races, and fits.
I do not sleep.
I can't, not while I think of you.
I won't, you are in my thoughts,
ever present, a constant.
A pleasant burden that I carry,
with wavering strength.
You make me weak, but give me courage.
I have doubts, your voice whispers,
in my head, telling me what to do.
You linger in the void of my subconscious.
I feel your weight, pressing down on my being.
Never alone, you are always with me.
I do not know you, you do not know me.
I know of you, picture your life in my dreams.
I live through you.
You are me, I am yours.
Forever together and eternally apart.
We are the same.
Two bodies, two minds, two souls.
One world.
We are the same.

Great write, I really liked the word choice you used and the whole mood of the poem. I like it when I can see what's going on as I'm reading. Great write, thanks for entering!
