I see them under the yellow brim
They play peek-a-boo under the trim
Its large cap shelters thier little hive
Honey suckle flowers twined at its base
Living and playing is the fae's favorite
game. Little copper heads, purples and blues.
A flutter of wings as they peek out from
under the mighty mushroom cap.
They run and frolick when the night comes
down upon the park where the people dont expect.
They throw a party a giant joyous occasion
in which all the faerie folk come and play.
At the break of dawn the party ends
and all the folk are tucked away in bed.
