More pieces than I thought I knew
But I wouldn't have known

Know the thought of every moment
Every step I take
You follow with me too.
I have found
I watch what I do
Knowing I couldn't fail you
Until the times
When you were unheard of
Nothing but bittered silence
Surrounding my thoughts with fears.
Insecure lies
If I felt you here
Maybe I wouldn't have realized
The opportunities I've missed
To hold your hand
May have made me fall
Further in the distance
