I look into Your face of innocence
delighted by such abundance of beauty
appeased by Your gaze of serenity
Yet it is not Your mask of impermanence
that charms my senses
but Your mirror of eternity
that touches my soul
In Your eyes I see my face
before my mother’s birth
the smile of God
before He moved to Heaven
And through Your tear
I feel His joy to see me
welcoming Him back

an amazing idea for a contest ... thank you sooo much for the gold ... this is probably the only poem I have left the green trophy on ... usually, I delete them, feeling that my poem isn't worthy enough to receive any attention at all ... silly me

much love,

Ah, lover of souls and of birds ...
we share such divine similarities! I simply love God ... and birds! Your poem is beautiful; your presentation in the visual lovely and graceful. Thank you for sharing the totality of your being.

Oh sweet sister, this is a true gift! Of course you knew I'd watch the video. I love it! Your voice is so soft and soothing. The peace felt is enhanced with the bird, I can see he feels it too.
Love,
Amera♥

The video slams are a great idea! They add so much more to just the letters in this page. The tone and mimic (decorated by the bird
) give this poem a different dimensions. Thank you for creating and sharing and the best of luck in the contest! Take care,
Chris

You help us to see eternal beauty in the shape of one you love, who also helps you to see your own. That is a divine moment. I enjoyed the video, well done!
Best of luck!
