Just Take Me Away

Your touch is full of ice and hatred,
as you beat me I look into your eyes,
your just hate in dusguise,
your eyes are like cold dark, dead coals,
staring straight into my soul.
"Why?" I ask but as I die I already know,
he is the devil in disguise,
here to take my soul and leave me empty and cold on the inside,
as I lay dying in the snow,
my warm blood once full of love, stains the ground around me, as darkness surrounds me,
wrapping its black wings around my soul,
I close my eyes and feel myself falling,
I struggle against it as the demons pull me down,
dragging me deeper and deeper,
I feel my soul becoming colder and colder,
as I become older and older,
no one looks as I walk by,
no one ever says hi its always goodbye,
I slowly die more and more from the inside,
I look up as the sun shines down,
wishing for the day I just might feel its warmth again,
I walk amongst the crowds of people,
just as another empty, cold, dead, soul,
the wind blows the hair back from my gray face,
I look up and see that the snow is falling all around me,
I wrap my thin coat around my stone cold body,
going back to my home in the alley,
I huddle in my box,
because no one knows me,
never came to look,
as my little twelve year old body shook,
I lay my head down to sleep never to hear or see the creep,
never to make a peep ever again,
my breathing slows with the wind,
as I take my last breath in,
and the last step of life leaves my cripple little body,
my last tear falls down my cheek and freezes forever,
as I finally find my way home in the sky.
