A darkness descends
through labyrinth’s spirals,
the warmth of day
hushed within depths of the fall,
cascading circles endlessly curve
towards bottomless pit,
hidden in recesses of his soul
Faint touch of flesh
against bearded face,
as time cycled without him,
tubular appendages of life
reminding body of necessity
that mind had forgotten,
eyes opening slowly
to an eternity of questions
that will never be answered.

A well written interesting piece of poetry. great form and flow. I liked the second stanza the most leaving a lingering question with us.

Very cool write, I love the alliteration scattered throughout and the descriptiveness is wonderful, nicely written!
