God is in control
He is the ruler of my soul
In Him I learned to trust
Gave up all my worldly lust
He puts us through the flame
To cleanse us from the stain
And the shame
That we obtain
While trudging through the miry clay
He teaches us faith
When we are faced
With decisions that will change
The direction of our faith.
