Dear diary I cried today
I cried for the loved one's that have perished over the years
I cried for anyone whose had to dry their tears
I cried for the girl whose lonliness tore her apart
I cried for the man who lost his love
I cried for the mother whose baby was killed
I cried for the boy that was shot in the middle of a drive-by
I cried for the one whose mother gave them up for drugs
I cried for alcoholics who say this drink will be the last
I cried for those who have forgotten themselves in the high class lifestyle
I cried for the lost, the shallow, and the angered
I cried for the bed ridden cancer patient who has a small chance at life
I cried for the mother whose children abandoned her in a nursing home
I cried for the girl whose heart was broken
I cried for the single mother just trying to make things right
I cried for other nations where some kids may be starving and have to resort to eating garbage
I cried for those lost soldiers who risked their live fighting for our freedom
And lastly.....
I cried for him the one I lost so long ago

The repitition of "I cried" became fairly annoying after a few lines. I like that it was so full of compassion and sympathy, but it didn't make me feel that same compassion or sympathy. Thanks so much for your entry and good luck!

Wow! This is a very deep, emotional piece. It makes me feel like I need to trash the entry I submitted, and dig so much deeper...Challenging me, I like that.
I was left literally breathless with sadness. I had to force myself to breathe again...Fabulous, and one that's gonna have Bella crying her eyes out too.
